SCOPE OF ROLE

Reporting to the Manager, Nursing-Psychiatry, the Supervisor, Nursing-Psychiatry will provide oversight, direction, and leadership of the behavioral health nursing team, while ensuring appropriate services and excellent care is received for patients and their families.

The Supervisor, Nursing-Psychiatry will champion the implementation of policies and procedures in conjunction with leading the service line Nursing Team members at designated regional sites.

The Supervisor, Nursing-Psychiatry drives initiatives that contribute to patient access, engagement, and positive clinical outcomes for patients.

HOW YOU'LL SUCCEED


* Effectively supervise and oversee the daily objectives of the Addiction Services nursing team including, but not limited to, ensuring patient's timely access to services, buprenorphine/LAI MAT injectable induction, individual census reconciliation, staff productivity, efficient and organized communication with treatment team members, and thorough documentation.


* Oversees team member's individual performance including ongoing coaching, development, and meeting objectives through the annual review process.


* Provide ongoing communication, teaching, and training for all team members.


* Actively lead team meetings and process improvement initiatives to continuously improve work productivity, quality, and efficiency of the team.


* Support the Nursing Director in developing and implementing metrics for monitoring program effectiveness, maintain clinical protocols to support an evidenced based patient care delivery model, care coordination, and quality improvement efforts.


* Support the Nursing Director in developing and leading effective standardization efforts related to clinical procedures, processes, and workflows to achieve high-quality, cost-effective care.


* Ensure clinical procedures and screening practices are compliant with state and federal standards, as well as evidence based practice.
