Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Construction Intern to join our team in Summer 2025 at Halsey, Oregon! We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Intern to join our team.

The Georgia-Pacific Project & Engineering teamwork within our facilities to deliver projects, engineering solutions, technology platforms, and asset strategies that enable our manufacturing capability.

The Regional and Program team's focus is on regional approaches to develop and deliver Programs/Projects.

What You Will Do


* Review and understand the scope of work and all aspects of construction for each specific project.


* Assist project teams with checkout, start-up, and punch list activities for their respective projects.


* Participate in reviews of cost, schedule, change management and risk for projects and actively challenge when appropriate.

Ensure these areas are up-to-date, transparent, and utilize tools to drive data-driven decision-making.


* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements through data analysis.


* Support the development and implementation of data-driven solutions to optimize engineering processes.


* Conduct research and provide recommendations based on data insights.


* Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning and execution.
