Manufacturing Engineer

Schneider Electric has an opportunity at our El Paso, Texas, facility for a Manufacturing Engineer.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying productivity-saving opportunities, overseeing the 3F's process (F, Fix, Follow-up), and coordinating with suppliers for new parts logistics.

This role will also involve collaboration with the Material Productivity Lead and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.

Key Responsibilities:


* Productivity Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for productivity savings within the manufacturing processes.


* 3F's Process Management: Lead the 3F's process (Fit, Form, Function) to ensure continuous improvement in manufacturing efficiency and part validations.


* Supplier Coordination: Work closely with suppliers to arrange logistics for new parts, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.


* Collaboration: Coordinate with the Material Productivity Lead to align strategies and initiatives for enhancing material efficiency.


* Documentation: Perform and maintain accurate documentation related to processes, improvements, and logistics to support transparency and compliance.


* Analysis and Reporting: Analyze production data to track improvements and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).

Qualifications:


* Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.


* Proven experience in manufacturing processes and productivity improvement initiatives.


* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.


* Excellent communication and coordination skills.


* Proficiency in documentation and reporting tools.


* Familiarity with logistics and supply chain processes is a plus.
