Head of CDZ & Value Added Services - US

Job Title:  VP, CDZ and Value-Added Services

Job Location: Atlanta, GA or Anywhere in the US near a DGF Office Location

Key Areas of Focus:



* Develop short to long-term plans for optimizing the organization, function and the talent required to execute strategies.


* Craft customs and trade compliance strategy in line with country’s business strategy and requirements, corporate guidelines and policies


* Develop and engage a high-performing team of professionals.

* Lead planning and implementation of customs plans, measures and budgets to achieve customs operational results


* Develop plans, organize and monitor customs & trade compliance and regulatory affairs activities for the country for to obtain necessary permits, licenses, certificates, authorizations and other approvals for the organization, required to conduct current and future business activities and to distribute its goods and service documents in a time sensitive environment


* Devise and lead achievement of high standards of operational quality throughout customs clearance process, data quality and support functions


* Monitor the customs operations team and documentation team to optimize productivity and drive cost control documents in a time sensitive environment

Success Factors for the Role:



* Deep knowledge of forwarding business and understanding of Products and Value Added Services


* Proven success in a senior management role, with specific experience in selling to major global customers


* Degree-level education or equiv.

* Commercial ability, experience and thinking in customer centric x-product solution design


* Capability to innovate and implement new ideas


* Strategic thinking skills


* Strong people and communication skills


* Excellent written, verbal, presentation, negotiation skills

 

                Pay Range (Bonus Included): $288,750.00 - $385,000.00+ (Based on Experience)

* Compensation: Competitive base salary plus role dependent performance-based incentives.


* 401(k) Match: $1-for-$1 match up to 4% quarterly + 2% annual base contribution.
