CI Underwriting Account Associate, Programs

JOB DESCRIPTION

Eastern Underwriting Center is seeking a Program Underwriting Associate for Commercial Insurance.

The Underwriting Associate contributes to the achievement of corporate goals relating to growth, profit, renewal retention, service, and producer/client management.

Daily responsibilities include, but not limited to:


* Gathering and analyzing account information (loss information, driver information, financials, loss control reports, etc.) and developing underwriting recommendations and pricing strategy


* Coordinating account processing for renewals with underwriter and customer service representative


* Providing rating and issuance instructions including appropriate forms, coverages, and final premium


* Reviewing submission information with underwriter and preparing quote letter


* Documenting underwriting analysis information in the electronic file; ensuring electronic file integrity


* Adhering to state regulated compliance requirements and working to resolve issues.


* Processing endorsements within designated authority
