Interconnect Systems (ISI), a Molex Company, currently has an opening for a Process Engineer.

Your skills will directly impact the current and future growth of the SMT (surface mount technology) area for the company.

Interconnect Systems (ISI), a Molex company, manufactures high performance electronic assemblies in our Camarillo, CA factory.

What You Will Do


* Develop and optimize manufacturing/SMT (surface mount technology) processes, including stencil design, solder paste selection, and reflow profiling.


* Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues to minimize downtime and improve yield.


* Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure manufacturability and quality of new products.


* Conduct process validation and qualification for new equipment and materials.


* Implement and maintain process control plans and documentation.


* Train and support production staff on SMT/manufacturing processes and best practices.


* Analyze process data and implement corrective actions to improve process performance.


* Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in SMT technology.


* Support other areas of manufacturing processes as back up for other process engineers.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)


* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar OR 5+ years of experience in a process or manufacturing engineering role.


* Interest in developing knowledge of SMT equipment, materials, and processes.


* Experience with process optimization and troubleshooting.


* Proficiency in using CAD software and other engineering tools.


* Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.

What Will Put You Ahead


* Experience or certification in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.


* Strong knowledge of SMT equipment, materials, and processes.


* Knowledge of IPC standards and quality management systems.
