Job Description:

We are searching for the best talent for a Manager, Publications & Scientific Communications, Electrophysiology to be based in Irvine, CA and reporting to the office on assigned days 2-3 times per week.

You will be responsible for:

The Manager, Publications & Scientific Communications will join the Clinical Science & External Research (CSER) Team responsible for global evidence dissemination of scientific findings from clinical trials and registries sponsored by Johnson & Johnson MedTech Electrophysiology.

Working closely with investigators and cross-functional partners, this leader will support the development of abstracts, posters, podium presentations, and manuscripts for pipeline and products on market.

The Manager will also craft internal and external scientific communication plans to propagate key findings among various target audiences.

The ideal candidate for this position has proven success in the day-to-day management of scientific publication and evidence dissemination plans in a medical device or related industry, is versed in writing and editing manuscripts, is knowledgeable of the cardiac arrhythmia medical device industry, and is familiar with pertinent guidelines governing clinical trial data publication.



* Lead the day-to-day development and implementation of evidence generation and dissemination strategy for assigned products


* Drive impactful publication development (ie, congress presentations, peer-reviewed articles) in partnership with physician authors, Clinical Study Team, and Biostatistics


* Adhere to external guidelines and Company policies governing the ethical development of clinical data publications while continuing to look at innovation in publication and scientific communications


* Work with Clinical Study Team on data timelines to create long-term forecasting for data availability and develop publication/evidence strategy


* Collect input on strategic alignment, drive commitment decisions, communicate progress and decisions to investigators, authors, and stakeholders
