Job Description:

Responsibilities:

Innovative Medicine, part of Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies, is recruiting for Co-ops based in Raritan, NJ, Titusville, NJ or Spring House, PA to support the Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine Procurement Organization. 

The Procurement Co-Ops will support the R&D Procurement or Commercial Procurement teams in the strategic acquisition of goods/services for J&J Innovative Medicine.  Key responsibilities may include:


* Help support the implementation and achievement of J&J goals and objectives with a multi-national approach in an international team


* Lead special projects across the team including Category Strategy development and execution


* Support Procurement activities across variety of categories


* Management of supplier relationships and supplier innovation opportunities


* Competitive sourcing events, process improvement initiatives, spend analyses, tracking of key performance indicators, and support of functional initiatives, among others

Qualifications:


* Candidate must be actively enrolled in an accredited University for the duration of a co-op assignment pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s and/or MBA.

Completion of Undergraduate Freshmen year at accredited University is required.


* Students should be pursuing a Bachelors in a business, engineering, supply chain or related field


* Ability to demonstrate strong analytical and quantitative skills is required


* Ability to work in a matrixed environment with rapidly changing priorities and tight deadlines is required


* Excellent communication, presentation skills and leadership skills are preferred


* Ability to balance multiple projects and initiatives while executing results


* Must be a self-starter who works independently while contributing to the team goals


* Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).


* Candidate must be able to work full time (40 hours per week), and adhere to J&J’s Flex policy (at least 3 days/week in office)
