* Minimum 10 years previous management experience in a manufacturing company with negotiations experience.


* Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

Preferred:


* MBA in Business, Business Administration, Economics or Finance.


* Minimum 15 years previous work experience in a manufacturing company with negotiations experience.


* Strong communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills.

* The Global Director of Procurement role is responsible for setting the vision and plan for the Howmet Wheel Systems (HWS) Procurement organization in alignment with BU priorities and objectives.

They are responsible for leading the team to successfully deliver quarterly, annual and long-term objectives within the guidelines set forth in Howmet's ethical and compliance standards, while complying with the Howmet Global Procurement Process Manual (GPPM).


* The overall goal is to achieve the best total cost position while maximizing free cash flow and minimizing supply chain risk.


* The person in this role must be able to lead the identification, implementation and execution of best-in-class procurement processes and procedures to ensure successful achievement of short & long-term objectives.


* This position will report directly to the Vice President Finance, HWS.
