About the role:

The Safety Department is seeking a dedicated and proactive summer intern to support various safety improvement projects.

As an intern, you will play an active role in our safety team, working on meaningful projects that bring results and add value to the company

Major activities/Key challenges:


* Support safety improvement projects as an active member of the safety team.


* Identify and execute health improvement projects.


* Collaborate with the Continuous Improvement Team and Department Management.

To be successful in this role and to play a part in our ongoing success we desire the following background:

Minimum Qualifications:


* Currently pursuing a degree in Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:


* Previous experience in Health & Safety (summer help, co-op, or internship)


* Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite.


* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


* Detail-oriented with organizational skills.
