DPAC Technical Manager
Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Team Manager to join our dynamic team.
The successful candidate will lead a team of engineers and technicians, ensuring the successful execution of projects and the continuous improvement of our technical processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians in the execution of projects related to energy management, automation, and industrial control systems.
* Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of Building Management Systems (BMS), HVAC, and Industrial Automation solutions.
* Ensure compliance with Schneider Electric's safety standards and quality guidelines throughout project execution.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative solutions that meet customer requirements.
* Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
* Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure project success.
* Maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and addressing any technical issues that arise.
Additional Technical Skills:
* Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
* Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
* Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices in industrial environments.
* Familiarity with IoT and IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) technologies.
* Experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
* Understanding of data analytics and machine learning applications in industrial settings.
* Knowledge of electrical distribution systems and power management solutions.
* Experience with digital twin technology and its applications in industrial automation.
* Familiarity with safety standards and regulations such as IEC 61508 and ISO 13849.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum of 10 years of experience in BMS, HVAC, or Industrial Controls/Automation.
* Proven experience as lead automation/controls engineer.
* Strong technical expertise in Schneider Electric technologies, including EcoStruxure, Modicon PLCs, and SCADA systems.
* Excellent project management and organizational skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with data center projects and knowledge of data center gray and white space.
* Familiarity with Schneider Electric's software tools and platforms.
