Schneider Electric has an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Intern in our Tualatin (Portland), Oregon location.

This intern will gain valuable exposure to the world of Human Resources through real-life initiatives, projects, and resume-boosting experience within a Fortune 500 company.

What You Will Do in This Role:


* Partner with Global Supply Chain (GSC) HR Leadership for North America (NAM)


* Gain exposure to the end-to-end HR generalist role and work with cutting-edge HR technology while learning leading industry practices


* Recruiting for assembler roles on the shop floor


* Collaborate on strategic HR projects and operations, including:
+ Development and standardization of onboarding programs for hourly/shop floor employees
+ Enhancing the new hire employee experience
+ Exposure to employee relations and guidance through new programs and policies

This Role Might Be for You If You Are:


* Actively pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Management, or a related field


* Comfortable with organizational agility


* Interested in manufacturing supply chain


* Self-driven and results-oriented


* Well-versed in project management


* Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment


* Experienced with data analytics and proficient in Microsoft Excel
