based position, the expected compensation range is $80,640- $120,960 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States.

Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level.

Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The Application Engineer I is responsible for supporting the Engineering and sale of a wide range of custom Data Center Thermal Solutions and related cooling systems.

The support provided includes the development of new products, pre-sale technical support, answering product application inquiries, and quality control.

This role has a strong impact on the success of the Data Center Cooling Systems business and requires an engineering background with knowledge in thermodynamic, electrical, and industrial controls principles.

What will you do?


* Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and implement appropriate solutions.


* Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.


* Review product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, and customer contract requirements, and related specifications.


* Participates in the design and engineering of new products utilizing phased or stage-gate scheduling techniques.


* Works with the production team on making product design changes to improve quality, productivity, or other operational objectives.


* Coordinate activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling and resolving engineering design and test problems as they arise.


* Reviews and approves production drawings / specifications, adding recommendations to enhance design, reduce costs or increase production efficiency.


* Prepares all documentation necessary for production as well as customer support.
