Job Description:


* Performs preventive maintenance on trailer equipment.


* Performs troubleshooting and root cause analysis of repair issues.

 


* Service and repair trailers.


* Utilizes manuals, work orders, hand and power tools, and measuring tools to complete tasks.


* Assembles, disassembles, repairs, replaces parts as needed.


* Electrical repairs and general maintenance.


* Welding and fabrication.


* Service and repair ABS systems.


* Ability to diagnose using computer diagnostic equipment.


* Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.


*  Reports all maintenance issues and malfunctions.


* Arranges trailers in shipping yards for optimum loading patterns.


* Follows safety regulations.


* Performs other duties as assigned.


* Operates a semi-truck and trailer according to applicable federal and state/provincial transportation laws and regulations
