The Opportunity


* Seeking Emergency Department/Urgent Care Center physician assistants and nurse practitioners.


* Previous ED experience preferred.


* New grads with Urgent care are welcome to apply.


* Current national certification, DEA, ACLS, PALS and BLS are required.


* Current IL state license is a plus.

The Practice

Advocate Sherman Medical Center - Elgin, Illinois


* 250-bed community hospital with a 45-bed Emergency Department.


* Level II Trauma Center, STEMI Receiving Center, and Primary Stroke Center.


* Diverse patient mix including 1/3 of the PEDS cases in the Illinois Advocate system.


* Annual volume of 65,000 with a 20% admit rate.


* Full sub-specialty backup with 24-hour social work, intensivists, anesthesiologists, and OB.


* An established Vituity site focused on throughput and quality.
