Production Planner

This role will work to consistently assess the company's capacity in our resources to ensure we are meeting orders.

The Production Planner plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between customer demand and production capabilities.

AS A PLANNER, YOU WILL: 


* Establish effective communication with various manufacturing teams, such as Customer Service, Marketing, Purchasing, and Production to ensure the timely production orders


* Identify possible conflict of demand and capacity; develop solutions to those conflicts 


* Review the planning time of production orders to coordinate the leveling of resource loads, to include moving work to other resources, pulling work forward in the production plan, or outsourcing overloaded work centers to ensure the schedule attainment


* Evaluate the impacts of "top down" and “bottom up” to the production schedule

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: 


* Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or related field of study; relatable experience may be considered in lieu of degree 


* 1-2 years' experience in Scheduling/Planning in an MRP manufacturing environment 


* Sound knowledge of the manufacturing process related to principles of workflow, capacity planning, and interdepartmental communications 


* Excellent computer skills, including advanced experience in Excel and workbooks 


* Work with the production teams to provide order status, order details, and any recovery plans required to support customer needs


* Legal Authorization to work in the United States - sponsorship will not be provided for this position

* Oracle experience 


* Oil & Gas experience
