Accounting Intern
We are actively looking for a motivated, critical thinking individual to intern with a strategic emphasis on the functions related to accounting functions that are integral in monitoring/invoicing/reconciling users that are live on our software application.
This internship is designed to provide a hands-on experience in shaping and executing impactful project management and accounting systems analysis.
The primary goal is to immerse the intern in a comprehensive software professional services environment.
Responsibilities:
* Work under direction of Senior Leadership
* Assist with preparation of internal reporting and other ad hoc reporting to help them gain quick insights into recent data.
* Data mining and analysis
* Introduction into SaaS Revenue Recognition analysis, and understanding customer trends
Qualifications:
* Understanding of accounting principles in theory while adhering to organizations standard business practice, policies and procedures.
* Quick learner and attention to Detail when using more advanced Excel Skills: Pivot tables, V-lookups, X-lookups to ensure data set is accurately represented.
* Ensure the completion of assigned tasks in line with established deadline.
* Attention to detail, excellent organization and time management skills, proven drive to consistently follow-through
* Ability to listen well and communicate in a professional manner: written, telephone and in person, and be able to resolve conflict
* Able to manage multiple priorities, handle frequent interruptions, and prioritize efficiently and effectively
* Process driven and results-oriented, able to work independently while embracing team collaboration and direction
