About the Role

As our Dietary Director, you will oversee all aspects of food service operations, ensuring that residents receive nutritious, well-balanced meals while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.

Your responsibilities will include:


* Developing and managing menus that meet dietary requirements and resident preferences


* Leading, training, and supervising the dietary staff to maintain high standards of service


* Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, including sanitation and food handling procedures


* Managing food inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining budgetary controls


* Collaborating with healthcare professionals to accommodate special dietary needs

What We're Looking For


* Previous experience in dietary services, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting


* Strong leadership and management skills


* Knowledge of state and federal dietary regulations


* ServSafe certification for Managers


* Ability to work collaboratively with staff and residents to create a positive dining experience


* Bachelors Degree in Food Service Management or 2 years working as a Dietary Director in a long term care facility is required.
