Director, Abiomed Deliver EMEA (m/f/d)

Location: Aachen Germany

Reporting to the Sr.

Director, Deliver, the Abiomed Deliver EMEA leads and runs the Customer Service and Distribution organizations supporting our patient-first mission and our business objectives.

This role directs and coordinates critical Warehouse, Distribution, and Service standard operating procedures, key performance measures, and end results.

Controls high-level departmental delegation for warehouse material movement and the subsequent processing and shipments of all finished goods and services in compliance with regulatory agency protocols, quality standards and applicable local and federal regulations.

The role also facilitates operational initiatives that combine business plans with functional strategy that have the best short-to medium-term impact on the customer service unit.

Develops processes for the productivity and efficiency of the customer service department, with comprehensive management experiences across multiple fields within the corporate organization or sector.

The role will coordinate the receiving, product kitting (PTO), shipping, prep-to-sterile, stockroom, materials handling, order-to-delivery, revenue recognition, and master data processes!

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

* Lead all aspects of the EMEA-based logistic function including shipping, receiving, and final kitting (PTO)


* Lead the order management and distribution of products flowing into the EMEA and APAC regions and the strategy to support the significant growth projections for this region


* Identify and realize cost-saving and cost-reduction opportunities


* Help progress the Deliver infrastructure and technology strategy and framework


* Orchestrate business and long-range financial planning


* Craft the DELIVER product flow and network


* Support and accelerate new product introductions


* Supervise metrics and continuous improvement
