Full-Time Linen Distribution Technician
Location: Northside Forsyth Hospital
Pay: $17.25 per hour
Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Off-Site Linen Distribution Technician to join our team at Northside Forsyth Hospital.

This role is ideal for someone who is confident in decision-making, quick to act, and possesses strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:



* Transport clean linen in covered carts to designated hospital areas.


* Collect soiled linen and transport it safely in covered carts.


* Verify linen quantities and maintain accurate inventory.


* Address and resolve client concerns professionally.


* Maintain effective communication with supervisors regarding any linen quality or client issues.


* Build strong customer relationships through reliable service and support.


* Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and hospital standards.


* Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.


* Assist with operating equipment and other departmental duties as needed.


* Adhere to Joint Commission Standards.

Qualifications:



* Education: High School Diploma or GED required.


* Experience: 1-2 years in healthcare, manufacturing, or a similar field preferred.


* Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.


* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.


* Physically able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift up to 35 lbs.


* Ability to push or pull carts weighing up to 250 lbs.


* Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.


* Basic computer skills with a willingness to learn new applications.

Physical Requirements:



* Standing, walking, bending, and reaching overhead throughout the shift.


* Lifting and handling items up to 50 lbs or more.
