Generator Field Service Technician II

Overview

UE Manufacturing is Now Hiring a Generator Field Service Technician II located at 10000 NW 2 nd , Oklahoma City, OK 73127 esponsible for diagnosing problems and performing complex and/or major mechanical, electrical, power generation equipment repairs , hydraulic and pneumatic repairs at the customer’s place of business are on customer's field locations.

Equipment to include power generation equipment, Frac equipment, coil tubing units, pumping units, and other oil field equipment.

Amount of Travel Required: 90%

Responsibilities



* Accurately troubleshoot and diagnose all problems with customer's equipment.


* Identify and order parts necessary to complete repairs and routine maintenance.


* Perform complex and/or major repairs on customer's equipment.

Replace parts and equipment as necessary.


* Perform routine maintenance on equipment according to established guidelines and schedules.


* Complete all work orders and time sheets in a legible, accurate and timely manner.


* Assist lower-level Technicians in completing work assignments as necessary.


* Maintain a clean and safe work environment.


* Perform all work in accordance with established quality standards and safety procedures

Qualifications



* High School Diploma or General Education (GED) and three to seven years related


* Preferred to be certified as an MTU CHP S2/ M1 .

Experience with inverters (VFDs), batteries, load banks is a plus.


* Must be organized and able to take ownership of work areas.


* Use a variety of electronic test equipment including DMMs, Insulation tester up to 15kv, Hi-pot tester up to 34kv, thermo imaging cameras, sound meters, gas detectors, laser tachometers, manometers, multichannel data acquisition systems.


* Use a variety of hand, power and various precision measurement tools.


* Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required production testing.
