The Construction Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all aspects of capital project construction activities within a petrochemical facility.

What you'll do:


* Develop and implement construction execution plans, schedules, and budgets in coordination with various departments and stakeholders.


* Coordinate pre-construction activities such as scope development, risk assessment, resource planning, and procurement of materials and services.


* Manage construction execution activities including contractor management, progress tracking, issue resolution, and quality assurance.


* Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies throughout the turnaround process.


* Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions as needed.


* Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, operations, and other departments to optimize turnaround performance and minimize downtime.


* Conduct post-turnaround reviews to evaluate performance, capture lessons learned, and drive continuous improvement for future events.

What it takes to be successful in this role:


* Associate or bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, or a related field with 7 years of Construction Coordination experience


* Strong knowledge of maintenance practices, project planning tools, and turnaround best practices.


* Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills to interact with diverse teams and stakeholders.


* Proficiency in project management software, such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent tools.
