HMA Professional (Hot Mixed Asphalt Production)

New Enterprise Stone & Lime Co., Inc., (NESL) is focused on growing our business in a sustainable manner.  To further our goals, we need to have the best talent that have a passion for safety and servicing our customers.  We have a new and exciting career opportunity as our Hot Mixed Asphalt Professional for the New York Region.  The position is based out of our Como Park Plant in Cheektowaga.  The starting pay for this position is $27.81 per hour and we offer an excellent benefits package which includes paid time off, healthcare, dental, vision and 401k with Company matching.

The ideal candidate we are looking for would thrive in an environment in which they function as our support addressing daily batching and workplace needs related to Commercial, Residential and Municipal Asphalt manufacturing and delivery. This involves:


* Supporting NESL through developing, planning, and performing day-to-day Batching and plant activities.


* The Plant operator’s performance in this area is measured by the quality and accuracy of related asphalt manufacturing responsibilities.


* Complete proper and accurate material batching; inventory control, plant maintenance and plant problem solving; follows all company safety related policies at all times.


* Mechanical and Electrical Experience to help trouble shoot any plant problems or issues.
