As a Senior Project Manager, Operations at RXO, you will play a key role in contributing to the operational efficiency and financial success of the company through effective planning, execution, resource management and delivery of projects on time and on budget.

What your day-to-day will look like:


* Provide leadership and focus, managing multiple projects with identifiable critical paths, task dependencies, risk/issue mitigation processes and major milestones


* Work with business leaders to identify and scope areas of opportunity to create and implement process improvements


* Support the sales process, specifically the key business development stakeholders on prospect presentations, data gathering, and solution design



* Contribute to the development of best practices for RXO implementation processes in compliance with quality standards


* Applying project management expertise and individual technical and professional knowledge to ensure the quality of the products and project deliverables are of the highest quality, meet the agreed upon timeline, and the contractual scope


* Drive customer onboarding and implementation for new business and navigate internal operations

What you’ll need to excel:

At a minimum, you’ll need:


* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience


* 2 years of experience in transportation and logistics


* Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint, MS Project)

It’d be great if you also have:


* Experience in transportation working with asset-based transportation solutions



* 5 years of experience as Project/Program Manager


* Availability to travel up to 30% of the time


* Experience in TMS trucking software and telematics


* Proficient in data analytics and reporting and ability to use Power BI


* Strong understanding of professional services economics, and experience with change management processes



* Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
