NDT Technician - 2nd Shift

SUMMARY

The NDT technician performs non-destructive inspection of components to ensure compliance with Company’s quality system, specifications, and customer requirements.

Non-destructive testing disciplines include penetrant testing and radiography testing.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES


* Analyze, Interpret, evaluate and document NDT inspection results in accordance with company procedures, work instructions, applicable standards, specifications and procedures


* Record inspection, test data and statistics manually or with the aid of a computer or computer-based system


* Certification in FPI or Radiography preferred


* Use of comparators, micrometers, scales and calipers


* Ensure completeness of work in process documentation


* Read, interpret and set up applicable NDT equipment


* Read and interpret all inspection data and customer requirements


* Embrace/implement continuous improvement and lean principles in all activities


* Ensure compliance with Quality Manual

QUALIFICATIONS



* Able to achieve Level I in required NDT methods (following training)


* High School Diploma or Equivalent


* Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions 
and decimals.

The specific LICENSES and/or CERTIFICATIONS required for this position are:



* Certified NDT Technician (following training) preferred


* Must pass applicable vision test if required
