Program Coordinator

Intertek is searching for an Program Coordinator to join our Business Assurance team in Canada.

The Program Coordinator is responsible for supporting and performing Operational and Technical functions of the QMS Program

What you’ll do:

· Perform contract reviews and approvals, changes, amendments, withdrawals and suspensions as needed


* Assist with administrative projects and tasks


* Perform technical and certification authority reviews


* Make certification authority decisions


* Create certificates in French, English, Portuguese and Spanish as applicable


* Coordinate the exchange of documents regarding reports, etc.

to the appropriate supervisor or program manager as applicable


* Update iEnable database


* Responsible for the accuracy of output of certification decisions and the accuracy of database maintenance


* Familiarity with timelines and measurable objectives and ensure achievement


* Respond to all internal and external requests within 48 hours


* Monitor corrective action status for completion and assist with follow up to Manager, auditors or clients as applicable


* Track certificate status to avoid certificate expiry, utilize priorities lists


* Assist with providing report review feedback and mentor auditors for continual improvement.


* Assist with corrective action verification


* Assist with internal audits


* Assist with disputes and appeals

What it takes to be successful in this role:


* High School Diploma or GED; prefer advanced college coursework or business degree


* Prefer to be fluent in English and French, (in both verbal and written formats)


* Prefer background in certification industry, quality engineering or quality management or equivalent


* Prefer experience as a certification authority


* Experience with ISO9001


* Ability to achieve ISO9001 lead auditor status


* Prefer experience in ISO9001 auditing ie internal audits, 2^nd party audits, 3^rd party audits, supplier audits etc.


* Prefer ISO 17021 knowledge


* Excellent communication skills, in both verbal and written formats


* Ability and technical aptitude to learn various software programs and technical processes


* Must be able to multi-task; must be organized and detail oriented; must have excellent time management skills


* Must be able to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities


* Must be flexible, motivated and goal oriented


* Microsoft Office expertise


* Intranet databases knowledge


* Ability to travel for training, program meetings, and witnessing.


* Proficient computer skills


* Must be able to follow guidelines, procedures and instructions
