About the role
As our Facilities Coordinator you will ensure our Philmac Adelaide site is in top condition, overseeing & coordinating maintenance, upgrades and security systems.
From managing contractors and vendors to maintaining essential services like heating, cooling, and fire safety, you’ll ensure the that the facilities operate smoothly.
* Oversee and manage the alarm system, including swipe card access and site keys to ensure security protocols are followed and maintained.
* Administer and update the office sign-in system, ensuring accurate records of employee and visitor access to the premises.
* Coordinate general facilities issues, including identifying needs for building maintenance, repairs, and ensuring timely resolutions.
* Manage and monitor the cleaning schedules and service quality for all office areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
* Act as the point of contact for any facilities-related inquiries or concerns, ensuring efficient and responsive support to employees and stakeholders.
About you
* Previous experience in a facilities coordinator position, or similar.
* Thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to maintaining a safe, secure, and efficient workplace.
* Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office applications, ERP systems, Rapid Global, Gallagher security, fire and compliance knowledge will set you up for success.
* Ability to manage contractors, navigate compliance requirements, and implement best practices to drive continuous improvement.
* Sound decision making and time management skills.
* Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team whilst juggling multiple priorities.
* Flexible, adaptable and customer focused with a good sense of humour.
