Production Technician

Summary:

This role ensures the readiness and optimal use of the technical machinery and systems.

Essential Functions:



* Adhere to the requirements of the quality management system with the aim of continuous improvement


* Perform trouble shooting of the PLC and control network as required


* Assist with repair and maintenance of equipment and systems


* Set, adjust, repair, monitor, optimize and operate machines, detecting and correcting defective parts


* Manage the system, machine manuals and maintenance plans


* Assist with organizing spare parts inventory as needed


* Ensure all process control systems and networks remain operational and up to date


* Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:



* Vocational training, preferably in mechatronics.

May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of education


* 2+ years of manufacturing experience


* Knowledge of the structure and function of production machinery


* Knowledge of mechatronics and automation as well as measurement, control and regulation


* Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programming knowledge
