Senior Design Engineer- Electro Mechanical

To provide mechanical engineering expertise in support of the design, development, specifications, product selection, drawings, calculations, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost implications, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications.

The Senior Engineer is viewed as a specialist in their area of discipline, offering innovative solutions at business-unit level, contributing to development and improvement activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Architecture development and technical specifications.

Review and validate manufacturing drawings in accordance with applicable standards.
Ensure the manufacturing feasibility, and maintenance requirements of designs - DFMA.

Review the work products and prepare for technical review meetings.

Provide engineering support as required for projects mainly Cost Reduction, Quality Improvement.

Design and Develop system level constructions and/or modifications to meet design requirements.

Lead team meetings and the design verification process.

Design and qualify new parts and constructions to meet product requirements.

Embrace additional responsibilities assigned by the organization, executing them diligently.

Actively participate in scheduled customer and internal review meetings, offering insights and recommendations.

To identify new technical developments and trends, translate these into building blocks for opportunities within the business unit, initiating the creation of (new) technological innovations/applications.

Job Requirements:

Mechanical Engineer with 10-12 Years' Experience in designing the Electromechanical products.

Low voltage switch board design and Enclosure Design
LV product knowledge
Proficiency in UL & IEC standards
Expertise on Sheetmetal designs, Manufacturing technologies.
Good understanding of Basic Mechanical design parameter such as Dimensioning, tolerance, and Material characteristics/ properties.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Proficient in 3D CAD modeling PDM and PLM
Engineering Change Management process.
Expertise on Tolerance analysis, GD&T ,Value Engineering /Analysis knowledge
Good mechanical aptitude and knowledge
Knowledge of electrical / electronic devices in Low voltage
Excellent Interpersonal and time management skills
