Talent Acquisition Specialist - IT and Finance

The Talent Acquisition Specialist - IT and Finance is responsible for the preparation and implementation of talent acquisition programs and procedures.

This position has a broad range of responsibilities throughout the recruiting and onboarding process, including sourcing and screening candidates, administering vendor agreements, coordinating pre-employment skills testing, producing offer letters and relocation agreements, and ensuring a positive candidate experience.

This role will be a hybrid position based out of Phoenix, AZ.

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years' experience recruiting in the fields of IT, Finance and Accounting.

What you will do to contribute to the company's success



* Implements proactive and creative recruiting strategies to build top talent for current and future business needs by analyzing and selecting the utilizing of resources, such as online job postings, career fairs, networking events, social media, internet sourcing, and other means to ensure high visibility with active and passive qualified candidates.


* Consults with hiring managers to understand short-term and long-term business hiring needs and to develop effective talent acquisition strategies through proper job posting, sourcing, and community outreach strategies.

Assesses market factors impacting recruiting to alter efforts accordingly.


* Assists hiring managers with recruiting life cycle to include pre-employment assessments, screenings, and the coordination of scheduling candidate interviews and travel.


* Conducts initial screening of candidates to determine if candidates' qualifications meet business needs and requirements.


* Conducts follow-up interaction via phone, email, or in person to ensure a positive recruiting experience.



* Updates candidate activity in the applicant tracking system.



* Trains and guides managers on how to effectively and legally interview and assess applicant qualifications .


* Ensures completion of all pre-employment approval requirements and handles candidate relocation and offer letter processes.


* Creates materi als, brochures, and information to promote current job openings for distribution to vendors and potential applicants.


* Uses social media and other sourcing means to identify and contact passive candidates; Promotes the Cable One culture and benefits to encourage those passive candidates to apply.


* Works with management, recruiting vendors, and pre-employment screening vendors to ensure best pricing and strategic talent acquisition tactics.
