Position Summary



* There are up to two (2) positions available.


* The Hiring Manager will also consider candidates for Middle Market Underwriter II.

Level of position offered will be based upon the depth and breadth of selected candidate's experience and qualifications.

Handles portfolio underwriting by managing specialty coverage and a large, complex book of business, evaluating and selecting risks, which the company will insure within level of authority.

Evaluates current and future business to verify acceptability and adequate rates.

Assists supervisor in supporting and promoting corporate objectives and strategic growth plan.

Leads, mentors and trains underwriter team members.
