Assistant Vice President, Sales Enablement
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Enablement to lead our efforts in driving sales strategy, developing revenue enablement programs, and optimizing our sales processes.
This role will be pivotal in ensuring our sales teams are equipped with the necessary tools, knowledge, and resources to achieve and surpass revenue targets.
Position can be based in the following locations or fully remote, depending on candidate's US location: Jersey City, NJ, Lehi, UT, Austin, TX.
Key Responsibilities
* Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with sales leadership to define and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with company objectives and market trends.
* Revenue Enablement Programs: Design and oversee revenue enablement initiatives that enhance the skills and productivity of the sales team, including training programs, sales playbooks, and competitive analysis.
* Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve sales processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness, leveraging technology and automation where appropriate.
* Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of sales strategies and revenue enablement efforts, providing regular reports to senior management.
* Collaboration and Communication: Foster strong cross-functional relationships with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
* Leadership and Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of sales enablement professionals, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their career goals.
* Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform sales strategies and enablement programs
Cross-Functional Leadership
* Lead and manage a team of sales and revenue enablement professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability within the team.
* Work closely with VP of Sales & Revenue Enablement and sales leadership to align sales enablement and revenue strategies with overall business objectives.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales and revenue initiatives.
* Drive the adoption of best practices and innovative approaches to enhance sales and revenue performance.
Stakeholder Engagement
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, sales teams, and external partners.
* Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in for sales enablement and revenue initiatives.
* Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums to share insights and best practices.
Education and Experience
* Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales enablement, revenue enablement, or a related field.
