Meal service: Serving meals, assisting with food cutting, and ensuring residents have proper dietary accommodations.
Room maintenance: Making beds, tidying rooms, changing linens, and keeping resident areas clean.
Transportation assistance: Escorting residents to and from activities, dining room, and appointments.
Companionship: Engaging in conversation with residents, providing emotional support, and participating in social activities.
Responding to call lights: Promptly attending to resident needs and requests
Maintaining records: Documenting resident interactions and observations
Inventory management: Stocking supplies and maintaining cleanliness of equipment is designated for the job description that is externally posted.

Excellent communication skills: Ability to interact positively with residents, families, and other healthcare staff
Compassionate attitude: Genuine care and understanding for the needs of elderly or disabled individuals
Physical stamina: Ability to perform tasks requiring standing, walking, and lifting
Attention to detail: Ensuring tasks are completed accurately and thoroughly
Basic understanding of personal care practices: Knowledge of proper hygiene and safety procedures
