RN -Neurosurgery Clinic

Work Schedule :

80% FTE, 8 hour shifts between the hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday.

No holidays or weekends.

You will primarily work in Madison, WI at 20 S.

Park Street, with some days at Eastpark Medical Center.

Potential for partial remote work after orientation and dependent on needs of the department.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to:


* Contribute to a highly collaborative multidisciplinary team and learning environment, where everyone's voice is valued, staff wellbeing is a priority and questions are encouraged.


* Serve as the touchpoint for patients via MyChart, phone and in-person.


* Educate and advocate patients and their families regarding therapies, treatment plans and medications related to neurological and neurosurgical diagnoses.


* Assist with post-surgical care including suture/staple removal and wound care.

Qualifications



* Graduate of school of nursing Required


* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred

Work Experience



* 6 months of RN experience Required


* Relevant RN experience Preferred

Licenses & Certifications



* Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact Upon Hire Required


* CPR/BLS Certification Upon Hire Required


* Applicable clinical certification Preferred
