Location: Embassy Manyata Business Park, IN

Travel %: 10%

What you will do

The Threat Detection and Hunt analyst is responsible for defending our systems and networks from cyber-attacks by implementing and executing detection engineering, threat intelligence analysis, and automation.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for cyber security, an analytical mindset, and a strong technical background to develop and implement detection strategies to identify and mitigate threats.

Key Responsibilities

• Use threat intelligence platforms to stay updated on emerging threats and incorporate relevant findings into detection mechanisms.

• Create and fine-tune detection rules, signatures, and alerts to improve the accuracy and efficiency of threat detection.

• Develop, implement and maintain security operations automation tools.

• Configure and optimize security monitoring tools and systems to detect, analyze, and respond to security incidents.

• Perform in-depth analysis of security events and incidents to determine their impact, root cause, and appropriate response actions.

• Work closely with incident response teams to support and improve incident handling processes.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for detection processes, configurations, and incident response procedures.

• Provide expertise and guidance to other teams on best practices for security monitoring and threat detection.

• Participate in security audits and compliance efforts as needed.

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; or equivalent experience.

• 5 years of experience in cyber security, with a focus on threat detection and intelligence.
