Consulting and Recuring Business Developer

The main mission of the Consulting and Recurring Business Developer is to grow the consulting and recurring services business in his/her region.

He/she supports the sales team (V1 and Services V2) to identify/pitch consulting and recurring opportunities.

This is including performing a consulting/recurring-specific customer platforming with the marketing team, joining customer visits with the sales team, attendance during consulting jobs and pullthrough follow-up with the sales team.

He/she also leads himself/herself efforts to acquire new customer base (hunting mode), leveraging consultative approach & consulting offers as entry door, with recurring service contracts as immediate potential pull through.

Main objectives of the role is to:


* Identify and acquire new customers leveraging consulting and/or recurring offers


* Leveraging knowledge of common power system & power quality issues with associated solutions, create new and excellent long-term relationships with customers (Trusted Advisor)


* Animate and stimulate the sales organization to drive expected consulting & recurring business performance within a region.

Main Responsibilities :

Hunting Responsibilities :


* Support customer platforming with marketing and sales team to identify the right customers to target


* Leads himself/herself efforts (hunting mode) to connect and acquire new targeted customers using consulting & recurring offers (hooks).


* Define the consulting offer to be proposed to a customer (EcoConsult Audits for Power, IA audits, Electrical Digital Twin Services or System Studies) according to the customer pain points.


* May perform some light/essential audits himself/herself to acquire customer faster & to secure under contract.

Business Developer responsibilities :


* Support to define & lead a clear strategy to increase consulting and recurring in service mix and in relevant segment, in conjunction with Marketing team


* Ensure sales teams (V1 and Services V2) will promote systematically Consulting and recurring offers to solve customers pain points


* Monitor & animate Pipeline creation by V2 (consulting/recurring offers and pull through opportunities)


* Attend customer visits with V1/V2 team when required and appropriate, Be the referent person for all Consulting and Recurring Services in the region


* Collaborate closely with other Sales functions to bundle Consulting & Recurring Services with other services offers (ie modernization)


* Provide commercial, tendering & technical support in all stages of the offer.


* Sales Training for V2s, V1s, KAMs sales force


* Coordinate with Category Managers to get the adequate consultants (from Country if available, regional hub or central team) to perform the consulting jobs.


* Identify gaps in offer and propose solutions in a close / collaborative work with Operational marketing leader and Category Manager
