As a Pharmacy Technician in our Central Fill location, you will be responsible for preparing prescription orders and fulfilling medications in a fast-paced production environment, under the supervision of a pharmacist.

Day-in-the-Life of a Pharmacy Technician, Central Fill:
* Operate and manipulate automated machinery as trained, to complete medication orders as required.
* Read computer-generated screens to find indicated merchandise on labeled shelves, verify name and strength of the product before selecting order.
* Clean all assigned workstations and surrounding areas.
* Count or pour pharmaceuticals.
* Replenish drug canisters for dispensing, from original manufacturer stock bottles.
Place pharmaceutical products in appropriate counters and affix labels.
* Monitor prescription inventory for expired pharmaceuticals.
* Assist in stocking shelves and maintaining inventory, including swapping full and empty drug canisters to and from the automation machinery.

Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Ability to speak, comprehend and read English in the written form required.
This position requires an active NJ Pharmacy Technician Registration within 10 days of being hired.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required
Previous pharmacy and/or warehouse experience preferred.
