What's the role
Based in Bunbury or Busselton in WA, we have an exciting opportunity for an Industrial Business Development Manager to join our team.

The Industrial Business Development role aims to drive profitable growth for Schneider Electric within a designated regional territory across various customer types, including End Users, Panel Builders, Contractors, OEMs, and System Integrators.

This position will focus on nurturing accounts, managing the value chain, and maximizing growth opportunities through targeted strategies.

Key Responsibilities:


* Achieve profitable sales growth and revenue by developing and executing strategic sales plans.

Maintain a strong pipeline and monitor progress against objectives.


* Engage with existing customers to identify needs and generate new business leads.

Implement Customer Action Plans to enhance customer satisfaction.


* Ensure compliance with government regulations and company policies while identifying opportunities for process improvements.


* Collaborate with product marketing to provide customer feedback and participate in marketing events.


* Adhere to HSE policies and promote a safety-conscious workplace.

Requirements:


* Electrician or experience in sales related to industrial automation.


* Proven track record in delivering sales results and relevant industry experience with industrial switchgear and control products.


* Strong customer relationship management, negotiation, and communication skills.

Proficiency in digital platforms for customer engagement.


* Ability to analyze issues, manage accounts effectively, and demonstrate strong business development skills.


* Monthly visit to Northwest customers and to Perth for team meetings
