Warehouse Supervisor - Afternoon Shift

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?


* Lead a team of operations agents /Lead Operations Agents/ Team Leaders to consistently meet service standards and performance with a Safety First mind-set


* Manage the gateway process and ensure that all shipments are cleared in the quickest, most efficient manner possible, and transferred to the dedicated movement in accordance with service standards for each process.


* Support and assist the Gateway Operations Duty Manager to look for improvement and enhancement of the process flow, facilities and equipment in order to handle continuous business growth and customers’ needs


* Plan and manage the staffing levels to attain productivity targets and to meet business requirements


* Maintains cooperative relationship and good communications between gateway departments, the local country office and the DHL network.


* Ensure employees in the Gateway are trained, developed and coached to meet business and succession needs


* This is a full-time position working 38 hours per week on the PM Shift, from 21:00-05:00, from Saturday to Wednesday

* Proven people leader to successfully lead teams to achieve goals and stretch targets - Essential


* Ability to think strategically, develop and implement new processes


* Ability to balance short-term and long-term demands delivering on departmental targets and strategy


* Ability to manage time resources effectively


* Excellent written and oral communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills


* Internal/external relationship building, customer service focus, financial and business acumen
