The Building & Construction team provides assurance, testing, inspection, and certification services and building science solutions to deliver Total Quality Assurance to the built environment.

The team offers the architectural, engineering and construction (A/E/C) industry with a full suite of capabilities both in the lab and on site.

What are we looking for?

As a Builder / Laborer you are responsible for the construction and dismantling of wood and steel bucks and walls and miscellaneous construction associated with building modifications and company expansion.

Shift/Schedule: Monday - Friday core business hours (may vary slightly)

What you'll do:


* Follow and enforce all safety requirements and company policies


* Provide exceptional customer service


* Build or assist in building wood and steel bucks and walls to prepared drawings


* Build thermal enclosures and roof decking


* Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in a neat, organized manner


* Perform miscellaneous construction as required


* Operate equipment (pursuant to documented training) as directed (e.g., forklifts, backhoe, scissor lift, overhead cranes, etc.)

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:


* High School Diploma or GED required


* Complete knowledge of all equipment and tools used in the completion of the duties listed


* Ability to read and understand chamber drawings and build accordingly


* Possession of a reasonable understanding of wall systems, including sealing and anchoring methods and techniques


* Physical ability to routinely lift at least 50 pounds


* Physical ability to sit, stand, crouch, bend, climb stairs and ladders, crawl, push, pull, etc.

* Ability to travel as business needs dictate - Occasional local travel may be required


* Valid driver's license and reliable driving record (required)
