General Labor Job Responsibilities:


* Installation and Safety: Use installation tools and hand tools for jobs from high places, including climbing poles with proper equipment, ladders, and bucket trucks (18 to 26 feet).


* Service and Compliance: Perform installations and changes of service adhering to company procedures, National Electric Code (NEC), National Electric Safety Code (NESC) requirements, and local ordinances.


* Customer Service: Perform service calls, troubleshoot equipment issues, and design basic home networks using coaxial cable, Ethernet, Wi-Fi networks, and multimedia over coax alliance (MoCA).


* Record Keeping: Complete associated record keeping in a timely manner to ensure all details are recorded for customer accounts.


* Quality Assurance: Review and confirm the quality of service, perform necessary adjustments or fixes to provide the best possible service.


* Wi-Fi Installation: Determine the appropriate placement of devices and design of Wi-Fi networks considering Wi-Fi channels, co-channel interference, and channel utilization.


* Customer Education: Provide advanced customer education on products and services, use of devices, and set appropriate expectations.


* Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance: Clean, maintain, and stock vehicles and equipment, report the need for repairs or service, and report any accidents, losses, or property damage.


* Equipment Operation: Properly operate and maintain installation tools, technology, and equipment, including hand tools, light power tools, meters, or ladders.


* Digital Tools: Demonstrate the ability to navigate digital tools for work order management and digital diagnostics.


* Licensing and Safety: Obtain and maintain appropriate licensing and/or background checks as required.
