Temporary Community Action Program Supervisor

The County of Riverside Community Action Partnership (CAP) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Temporary Community Action Program Supervisor to join our dynamic team and lead impactful community initiatives.

This position will report to the Community Action Partnership unit based in Riverside, CA.

CAP is a Division of the County of Riverside Department of Housing and Workforce Solutions (HWS).

CAP is an agency that assists low-income families in breaking the cycle of poverty through strategic community-public-private partnerships.

These partnerships focus on enhancing the financial capacity of residents and the nonprofit sector.

The selected candidate will oversee project planning and execution, administer and manage community action programs and serve as the primary point of contact for communication with executives, non-profits, and local partners.

The CAP Supervisor will also manage government reporting requirements for state-run programs funded federally, assess and evaluate program data, and collaborate with other divisions for continuous improvement, prepare for and manage annual audits and desk reviews to ensure program compliance and effectiveness.

Additionally, the incumbent will perform other duties as assigned.

Competitive candidates will possess the following:


* Strong background in construction projects


* Budget management


* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels.


* Project management skills


* Skilled in negotiating with stakeholders to achieve favorable outcomes.


* Experience working with local municipalities, county agencies, state agencies, or federal agencies.


* Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
