Corporate Tax Intern

Hoffmaster is looking for an intern to support our Corporate Tax team for Summer 2025.

This is an onsite paid internship based at our Corporate office in Oshkosh.

The Tax Intern will focus on implementing a sales and use tax exemption certificate database including:


* Sending requests to customers for updated sales and use tax exemption certificates


* Collecting certificates in newly implemented database


* Tracking responses and sending follow-ups


* Completing sales and use tax returns


* Assisting in compiling data requested from outside accounting firm for income tax return preparation

Requirements:


* Excellent abilities to prioritize and handle multiple projects


* Ability to recognize improvement opportunities


* High level of interpersonal, written, verbal communication/ influence skills, excellent presentation skills


* Ability to perform with minimal supervision and direction


* Ability to deliver effective presentations


* Organizational and problem-solving skills


* Ability to work well on a team


* Proven skill in projecting confidence, working collaboratively and engendering trust


* Working towards Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business.

or related degree.
