Offer Marketing Owner
Reporting to the Advanced Metering League Leader, Digital Power has an opening for an Offer Marketing Owner for our strategic Utility (ION7400, ION8650) product lines.
Mission & Responsibilities
* The Offer Marketing Owner (OMO) is responsible for the end-to-end life of their offer, including defining desirable, viable, feasible and sustainable offers that meet customer needs and for supporting development across the entire offer lifecycle
* As the single representative for the offer in the organization, the OMO has the full 4P responsibility for defining value propositions, setting strategy, delivering value, setting pricing, and bringing the customer voice for their offer into the organization
What will you do?
* Define product/system strategy, vision and roadmaps
+ Working with Product Owner(s) to implement strategy in development squads in an Agile development environment
* Connect with customers to anticipate needs and deliver solutions
+ Engaging directly with end-user personas to ensure the voice of customer is heard throughout offer lifecycle
* Manage and prioritize the offer-level backlog
+ Guide feature creation and prioritize offer development
* Explore markets, competition and end user segments
+ Understand market trends and competitive positioning
* Deliver value to the market by creating and meeting (or exceeding) business cases and forecasts
+ Build business cases for product development and multi-year sales forecasts
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
* 5+ years of experience in marketing or product management.
* Strong business acumen, and experience with fundamental marketing concepts, tools & best practices.
* Ability to understand technologies and how they can be deployed to gain competitive edge.
* Outstanding oral and written communication skills, with the ability to synthesize and convey technical and marketing concepts simply and effectively.
* Comfortable working as a team player with many diverse groups in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Open-minded, adaptable & fast learner.
* Innovative and creative thinker.
The compensation range for this full-time position, which includes base pay and short-term incentive, is CAD $129,000-$194,000 for candidates who are B.C.
residents.
Our salary ranges are determined by including roles of similar responsibility and level.
Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
