Your Key Responsibilities:


* Manage a portfolio of transportation lanes within the Janssen Pharmaceutical network and ensure optimal service, including tactical issues, on an exception basis.


* Deliver results across critical metrics owned by Transportation such as on-time delivery, cost improvement programs, freight spend performance vs.

budget, security infraction rates, and quality results.


* Provide input and analyze strategic transportation supply chain requirements.


* Oversee specified transportation services, including freight management of a dedicated fleet, strategic transportation analysis, compliance, claims, freight payment activities, and deviations.


* Lead operational site collaboration meetings along with day-to-day tactical relationship with primary carriers.

Qualifications


* Minimum Bachelor's degree required


* Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience required


* Requires experience in logistics, customer service, transportation, distribution, operations or supply chain


* Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to succeed with internal and external business partners


* Ability to balance multiple priorities successfully and work independently while demonstrating initiative


* Demonstrated analytical experience and ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment


* Requires intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency including VLOOKUPS and pivot tables
