Finance Services Representative
The Finance Services Representative should be knowledgeable of financial regulations as well as demonstrate professional communication, analytical, and customer service skills.
The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
Key Responsibilities
* Establish through coordination with Sales and Credit in the structuring and selling of equipment through financing as a method of promoting equipment sales.
* Develop partnerships with Sales and Credit teams and coordinate the finance strategies that will align with our customer’s purchasing objectives.
* Promote financing through CAT and secondary lenders.
* Coordinate pay-offs and develop quotes as required of rentals and leases for our customers.
* Create additional finance programs and opportunities for used and other equipment lines aligned with existing CAT focus programs)
* Develop and sustain long-term relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and potential customer referrals.
* Assist in establishing alternative sources for financing transactions that do not meet either Caterpillar or company standards.
Help to determine viable solutions that will assist our customers to obtain the optimal financial outcome.
* Develop in-depth knowledge of our financial products.
* Monitor and respond to all customer problems involving finance issues.
* Assist the Sales Team in sourcing, implementing and closing deals.
* Reduce barriers to funding and assist the Regional Credit Managers in offering the best possible financing program for the customer.
* Act as finance liaison between our Customers, Sales and Credit.
* Maintain a high degree of cooperation and coordination with Credit Specialists and Sales for all customer interactions.
* Travel with Sales Representatives as necessary to facilitate financing.
* Work with customers and their accountants to field questions pertinent to finance.
Personal Attributes, Experience, and Education:
* Bachelor Degree in Business or Finance and 4 years of experience or the equivalent of experience of 5-7 years.
* Proven excellent customer service skills and work ethic.
Self-directed, independent and a team player with strong initiative.
* High attention to detail with effective decision making and problem solving skills.
* Well-developed business and financial acumen with strong analytical, organization and time-management skills.
We offer a competitive benefits package that includes salary from $74,100 - $90,500 based on skills and experience, health benefits, vacation, sick leave, life insurance, 401(k) with profit sharing and company match.
