Job Description

Pay: $22-$23/hour

This position is eligible for Daily Pay!  Work today, get paid today! We’ve partnered with DailyPay, a voluntary benefit to offer employees access to their pay on their own schedule.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm (Hybrid: 3 days in office/2 days remote)

This full-time position is eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, Short Term Disability, Life/Accidental Death and Dismemberment, Flexible Spending Accounts, Long Term Disability, and several voluntary supplemental benefit offerings.  In addition, these positions are eligible for paid time off in the form of vacation, sick, holiday, floating holiday, jury duty and bereavement leave.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Coordinator I, Benefits provides administrative support to the benefits functions of Human Resources (HR), working effectively with varied groups of people.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• May complete SAP invoice entry and Goods Receipt Purchase Order (GRPO) creation for benefits invoices – may include other HR invoices.

Submit all invoices to Accounts Payable for payment.

• Maintains organized files and accurate employee benefit records including new enrollments and family employment status changes.

• Maintains accurate employee deductions in payroll related to employee benefits.

• Assists in reconciling billing and enrollment lists to facilitate timely and accurate payment to vendors.

• Provides the first point of contact for employees related to benefit programs.  

• Guides employees on how to resolve benefit related issues. 

• Consults with and advises employees on eligibility for coverage. 

• Facilitate resolution of issues between employees and vendors.

• Creates benefit packets and distributes.

• Creates and facilitates annual and monthly open enrollment process.

• Supports the annual processing of 1095c forms required by the Affordable Care Act (ACA). 

• Assists with monthly research of information for ACA tracking spreadsheets.

• Redistributes or forwards all mail as required.

• Maintains strict confidentiality and information security.

• Advise the Benefits Manager of significant events or situations that could negatively affect the company and those events where an employee or department has positively affected the company.

• Complete child support documentation requests as needed.

• Receive faxes from the HR fax line as needed.

• Assists in other areas of HR as needed (absences, etc.).

• Performs other duties as assigned.
