Receptionist

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dynamic and skilled receptionist to be the first point of contact for visitors, residents, and staff.
Job Description:
We are seeking a professional and friendly full-time Receptionist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a keen attention to detail, and experience managing multi-line phone systems.
This role requires proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to handle a variety of administrative tasks with a positive, approachable demeanor.
Key Responsibilities:
* Greet visitors, residents, and staff in a courteous and professional manner
* Check visitors in and direct or escort them to specific destinations
* Answer and direct phone calls using a multi-line phone system
* Maintain visitor sign in log
* Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings
* Maintain accurate records and files using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Handle resident inquiries and provide general information
* Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence
* Ensure that the front desk area is organized and well-stocked
* Assist with other tasks as assigned by management
Qualifications:
* Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or GED
* Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on professionalism and empathy
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
* Agree not to disclose resident's protected health information and promptly report suspected or known violations of such disclosure to the Administrator.
Maintain the confidentiality of all resident care information including protected health information.
* Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
* Previous experience in healthcare or a nursing home setting is a plus but not required
* The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Prolonged use of a desktop or laptop computer.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and talk, read or hear.
Frequent use of all office related equipment to include; copier/scanner/fax, telephone, and calculator.
