Application Engineer

As an Automation Engineer will be part of Schneider Electric Energy business based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

You will be acting as the responsible commissioning engineer overseeing the installation, commissioning, and services of Energy automation systems for assignments classified as medium commissioning complexity.

Managing completion of all commissioning activities efficiently and cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Participate in performing FAT and SAT testing for energy automation systems.

• May assist in defining project scope and performing project cost estimates.

• May assist in the development of plans, specifications, and reports in accordance with established company procedures.

• Perform field investigation as required.

• May prepare technical offer for small projects.

• Coordinate and prioritize workload to ensure project deadlines and budgets are met.

• Develop projects that meet or exceed the divisional goals and objectives.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE:

1- A bachelor's degree in engineering.

with 0-3 years' experience

2- Knowledge of energy automation systems and different communication Protocols

3- communication and presentation skills.

Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.

KILLS & ABILITIES:

1- Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required

2- Limited understanding of energy automation systems and energy use.

3- Basic ability to use Microsoft Office programs including but not limited to, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

4- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including, but not limited to, the ability to listen effectively and solicit input from others.

5- Excellent organizational skills including, but not limited to, the ability to handle multiple demands and assignments, the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and efficiently.

6- Ability to work effectively as a team member.

7- Basic understanding of Project Development processes.
