FP&A Leader

Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Leader with analytical passion and effective communication skills to join our Containerboard team! This role is for a valued business partner, who will collaborate, lead, and advise, providing financial and analytical support to our Brewton, AL facility and the Containerboard business.

You will also create value by providing actionable manufacturing analysis, cost analysis, forecasting and planning, as well as initiative tracking for operations leaders.

Location: This role supports our mill in Brewton, AL .

We have a hybrid schedule of in office and remote workdays but do require a regular weekly onsite presence at the facility.

Our Team: The GP Financial Planning & Analysis team is made up of individuals that provide support to 125+ operating locations across the US, as well as at our corporate HQ in Atlanta, GA.

Our Platform Analytics team is responsible for supporting financial and manufacturing analysis functions for our nine Containerboard and Cellulose facilities across the country.

What You Will Do



* Supervise a team of analysts and continue to build capability and focus within that group


* Prepare and communicate comprehensive financial reporting; consolidation of reporting and analysis, results and trends, variance analysis, investment analysis, etc.

to support decision-making on a monthly and ad-hoc basis.


* Lead strategic planning, annual planning, and forecast cycles for the facility


* Direct manufacturing KPI analysis, cost analysis, benchmark reporting, initiative tracking, etc.

to support site competitive position


* Provide analytical support on strategic capital and major expense projects and ad-hoc requests


* Collaborate with a diverse team to identify opportunities, develop, and prioritize strategies that drive value creation and advance the current state
